Professor Nikolai Bogduk presents ‘Pain Science and Pharmacology for Manual Therapists’ online course.
The course provides 8 hours of continuing education and is broken down into 5 core modules:
- Taking a Pain History
- Pain and Opiods
- Inflammation: Steroids, NSAIDs, and Paracetamol
- Neurogenic Pain
- Assessing Pain Interventions
Each module is based around a screencast video of Professor Bogduk taking you through each of these topics as only he can. His presentations are visual, entertaining, easy to follow and highly educational.
The 5 core modules are supplemented with presentations by Nic Lucas and Rob Moran in which they discuss the main points of each topic and how they might be applied to clinical practice.
This course can be taken at your own convenience – as long as you complete it within the next 12 months. If you need continuing education points quickly then you can do the whole course straight away. If you’d prefer to wait and do the course in a new continuing education cycle, then you are able to do that as well.
